They may sound like secret societies … but that’s only half right. Societies they are, but secret: not so much. Christian Spohr is actually quite open about how much he enjoys working with and supporting others. And he knows how much power can be found in working together.<\/p>\n

Many years ago, Christian Spohr was one of the founders of Message in a Bottle: a group that waved the revolutionary flag high even among Germany\u2019s young winemaker groups. His generation has since grown up, but not outgrown its innovative roots. In many cases, new cooperations have been forged.<\/p>\n

Maxime Herkunft Rheinhessen<\/a> is dedicated to the three-tier quality pyramid of Gutswein, Ortswein, and Lagenwein. Many of the estates that consistently follow this quality model have emerged as leaders in Rheinhessen, including Weingut Spohr.
